Hair | Schwarzkopf LIVE Pastel Sprays

Schwarzkopf LIVE Colour Pastel Sprays

Something I've always wanted to do was have rainbow hair...but my job doesn't quite allow coloured hair as bright as that. So I thought, why not try it out through mixing all the colours from Schwarzkopf LIVE Colour Pastel Sprays collection to create my own temporary version of the rainbow hair I always wanted. But, I have a nosey around Pinterest and found a fair few styles that had half the head rainbow like in the picture of how my hair turned out above.

Schwarzkopf LIVE Pastel Sprays

It was quite an easy job to do when you have someone else spraying the temporary colour on for you, in this case Reiss did it for me and covered the white, yes WHITE bathroom rug into a pastel rainbow on the floor...oops...sorry Mum...But anyway, the consistency of the sprays was very runny, as I expected from being at the Live Colour Club event last summer. But it can get very messy when you do have a go at this. The colours are brilliant for a bit adding a bit of fun colour to your hair for the weekend, special occasion or whenever really! I honestly LOVE these sprays, as for a blonde gal, they worked pretty well on my hair!

Schwarzkopf LIVE Pastel Sprays

I used all the colours in the collection including the green shade that I hadn't got at the point of me photographing these sprays, but I picked it up for £3.50 in Primark! Bargain! Anyway, I split my hair in hair from my ears to near the top of my head at the back, used clips to section small parts of my hair to spray different colours, used an old dressing gown and towel, gloves provided, and off we went. Once we sprayed all the sections I desired, I left it for a few minutes before blow drying it with my hair dryer and a tangle teezer and there you have it! Half a head of temporary rainbow hair! I will definitely be trying this out again in different ways, that's for sure!

Have you ever used this sprays before? What hair colours have you been?

Fashion | Spring Uniform

Chic Street Style Outfit

I cannot tell you how many times I've repeated this kind of outfit...If you follow me on Instagram, you will be able to see how obsessed I am with it. I literally wear it with EVERYTHING. Same goes for this navy bag! I love it so much that I've ordered it in red!

How cute is this little slogan top I picked up in H&M whilst I was in Klagenfurt, Austria?! It says 'No Bad Vibes' on a rainbow! Definitely my sort of thing, and what my wardrobe needed. As I love slogan tees but I only have like 3...Some people would say that's enough, but a fashion blogger like me? Clearly not enough hahaa! It was only like 8.99 euros! I bought another slogan tee that says 'Follow Your Heart' in navy embroidery. H&M are killing it this season with their clothing! I've bought so much from them lately!

All throughout being in Austria, I seemed to not want to go anywhere without my thigh high boots, as they kept me pretty warm throughout the cold days, but this particular day, I wish I wore my converse as it was so hot, plus we walked for miles this day! You can watch my Austria Vlog on my channel now. Link at the bottom of this blog post.

So this is basically what I've been wearing the most throughout spring. Yellow jacket and navy bag with literally anything it goes with! Even white dungarees! What have you been wearing the most lately?

Lifestyle | What Happened In April

April was a brilliant month when I look back at it. Before we get on to the main event of what April was for me, travelling to Austria with my best friends of course. But firstly, I go to go and see Mrs Brown's Boys Live with my best friend Stacie which was brilliant! Found it pretty funny, but I haven't laugh that much at a show since seeing Jack Whitehall in February, nothing will beat how funny that show was! I've watched Mrs Brown's Boy for years, so it was brilliant to get tickets to the show!

Next up, I had a night out with a couple of friends and had a pretty funny night, and it certainly was memorable! I was once again mainly at work this month, but these 2 bar the holiday that I'm about to tell you about, was a pretty quite month when it comes to memorable things. Let's get onto how Austria was!

Firstly, I could not ask for a better group of friends to go travelling with, my boyfriend Reiss, Sophie my best friend and her boyfriend Sam. This holiday was not only full of some amazingly brilliant memories that I will cherish forever and never forget, but it's brought us all closer together and made our friendships worth so much more! We got up to so much whilst we were there, a guided tour round Klagenfurt - that we actually ditched as it was terribly boring, so we got a map and went off doing our own thing round the shops. Never did I know German's and Austrian people loved Unicorns so much?! I was literally in Unicorn heaven in some stages! Obviously I came back with a hell of a load of unicorn things. They call unicorns Einhorns over there which was different!

We also visited a monkey zoo up in the mountains, despite how cold we were, it was definitely worth going to see! The cute baby monkeys and being so close to the monkeys you could almost touch them - but I wouldn't do that if I were you as they'd probably go for you!

One of the days whilst we were there, we had a chill out day, just wondering the local area and grabbing a pizza in a local restaurant. Reiss decided to come up with the idea of jumping in the Ossiach See - lake to us English - and I obviously recorded it, which you can see over on my YouTube in my Austria Road Trip vlog, all links at the bottom of this post.

Our final day was travelling to different small towns of Spittal, Gmunden and Villach. Spittal was where we stopped in different food stores to stock up on treats for the journey back home the next day and a very long trek to McDonald's...in thigh high boots...wow did I regret that and wish I wore my converse that day...Anyway, we then ventured into a small village of Gmunden and relaxed on a sun bed for a while just soaking in the warm sun that we finally had, as the other days in Austria it was quite cold. Finally we travelled up to Villach and ate the local ice cream which was delicious! I had mint flavour - one of my favourites!

This was my 2nd coach trip with a company called Harry Shaw, and myself and my friends said they would do it again, as you see so much more than just jumping on a plane somewhere. Okay, it takes a lot longer, but you make so many more memories, experience more, learn more. You need to at least try it once in your life! I honestly love it and I've been on a plane before and love that too, but I love these road trips through different countries! We travelled by ferry, drove through France, Germany and Austria! The amount of places you stop for food too! You get to try so many different foods too! Definitely try a coach trip abroad! I'm booking another 2 for this year!

I also took a trip up to Skegness to help my grandparents out with their new place. So that was a weekend full of hard work and lots of DIY. But even so, I may have been working, it was so nice to see them again, as they live quite far away, I don't get to see them often. I cherish every moment I get with them, as I honestly love my grandparents. Never take your family for granted, as no one lives forever.

So to conclude this monthly recap, I honestly had THE best time away and realised how amazing friends can be. Hope your having an awesome time where ever your reading this! Thanks for reading!

Beauty | Favourite OPI Nail Colours

OPI Nail Varnish

It's rare I get to put colour on my nails, but when I do, I tend to reach for these cute little miniature pots of OPI nail varnish. I got these for Christmas and was so pleased with them, as I've always heard such great things about OPI, especially from Becky Bedbug, so I was so happy to own some in my life (finally)! Especially the pink colours now it's spring/summer. The nudes are also great to wear to work, as they look quite natural.

OPI Nail Varnish
OPI Nail Varnish

The good thing about the size of these pots, is they're good for travelling. Also, every single shade is really pigmented! Chipping and lasting wise with just one coat isn't good, but bearing in mind I wash my hands a lot so my nails chip quite easily anyway. I much prefer glue on nails, especially from Primark, but these pots are great for a quick lick of paint on your nails before heading out somewhere.

OPI Nail Varnish
OPI Nail Varnish

I've tried numerous amounts of different brands of nail varnishes, but OPI seems to have the best formula for my nails, as they don't chip as fast as the other nail brands I've used before. I love Model's Own and Barry M, but they don't last as long unless I've painted them on my toes - why is it your toes nail varnish always last longer than your finger nails?! Your toes go through a lot too hahaa. Anyway, so I need to add more OPI colours to my nail varnish collection, as I'm sure I have a little bit of room for a few more! Also, I honestly don't know the names of the shades, as the pots don't have anything but the brand logo on them! Sorry for those that are wondering! They just came in a little x10 gift set!

What's your favourite nail varnish brand?

Fashion | Navy Addict

Dressed Up Casual Outfit

Finally! It's about time I brought Fashion back onto Fashionista Chic! I've truly missed shooting and editing pictures of clothes that I love! What a way to bring it back than with a shoot in the mountains of Austria - of all places though! How could I not though? Just look how stunning this location really is! I've got a post all about my time in Austria coming soon by the way, so look out for that, especially the pictures in it!

Moving onto the outfit. This cute little co-ord is from Yoins, and even though I was prepared for cold temperatures, this HAD to come with me, as you never know, the sun might come out...and it actually did! Me and Reiss went out before dinner on our final night to get a shoot in for the both of us, so of course he shot for me, and I've finally got some good shots of him, that he actually used on his Instagram - oh how I wish he'd be a style blogger/YouTuber...hint hint.

As it was chilly but not overly cold, I thought, maybe throw on this cardigan whether it suits or not, and what do you know it gives such a nice casual but glam look to it! Especially with the diamante choker also from Yoins that I wore everyday whilst I was out in Austria! Wearing my ultimate favourite thigh high boots from H&M with my current favourite bag that goes EVERYWHERE with me! I love this bag SO much, that I've ordered it in red hehee! So that will obviously be all over my blog, Instagram, YouTube etc. As you all will know hahaa! Also, can you tell I'm a bit obsessed with navy lately? I just seem to not be able to get enough of this classy colour!

What do you think of this outfit? I certainly loved wearing it! This co-ord will be getting SO much wear throughout summer for sure! Also, the fit is so good! I just think I should of sized up the top half it only just fits over my chest, but sometimes comes up..Girls with larger chests, you will understand my pain!

Thanks for reading sweets! See you in my next one!

Flash Academy App

Flash Academy App

I've always wanted to learn another language, but there's something about sitting in a classroom and having someone tell you what word means what, rather than having some fun with it and learning through an app. Okay, it's more sociable to do it in a classroom, but when I was at school and took German, I found it so hard to grasp the language. So when the opportunity of using the Flash Academy App came along, I literally was like YEP. IMMA DOIN' THAT!

Flash Academy App
Flash Academy App

The app consists of a fair few different languages, such as German, French, Italian and Spanish being the main options, but you can learn from Arabic, Dutch, English, Greek to even Korean! Literally endless opportunities to learn whatever language you wish! I picked German, as I've always had an interest in the language.

Flash Academy App

You can learn through different lessons on various topics, such as food and drink, a few basics, holiday and travel and even shopping and numbers etc. I learnt a fair few things before I went to Austria, as in the language of course, and a fair few words helped when ordering food especially. I love the fact you can go over the lessons again as well as do word games to reflect on what you've learn - now that's brilliant for me as my memory is terrible sometimes. Practice makes permanent is what my martial arts instructor once told me!

Flash Academy App
Flash Academy App

It also has different levels of lessons the further you get within your language learning. It also helps if you get a subscription to the app which is as cheap as £3.00 per month for 12 months or £4.17 per month for 6 months. You can also pay £6.99 for one month, but if you love the app as much as I do, you'll understand why I love this app so much, especially the fact that I have the premium package! I honestly really enjoyed learning using this app so much, I used it whilst on my journey through France, Germany to Austria and annoyed the heck out of my boyfriend hahaa! My best friends boyfriend speaks a bit of German so it was a great help knowing I was saying stuff right when I asked is this how you say it hahaa. It was so good to finally understand some words when German people are trying to speak to me in their language!

Flash Academy App

This is honestly one of my favourite apps I own - next to Instagram of course hahaa!
If your looking to learn a new language and are not one for learning in a classroom, definitely check this app out! It's free to download in the app store!

Advice | Things That Relax Me

Things That Relax Me

Waheyyy! Another Bank Holiday! Seeing as April has been a pretty busy month for me, I thought I would start may off with a little relaxation post filled with all the things that relax me. Relaxing is something we all need every now and again, or we'll burn ourselves out - something I'm guilty of as I do this quite often, so I try to take some time out of the day for myself to just chill. So here are some things I like to do to relax and have some me time.

Things That Relax Me

Paint my nails

There's just something satisfyingly pleasing about painting my nails. I just really enjoy picking out a colour and spending the time concentrating on shaping my nails to make them healthy looking again, as mine snap and break a lot due to how flimsy they are from me constantly washing my hands at and the activities I'm involved with at work. So I like to take the time to give my nails a good pampering and make them look pretty again.

Things That Relax Me

Read a book

I really don't do this often enough, so I set myself a goal to read a book a month, or at least 5-10 pages a day so I at least give myself that small target to achieve each day. I also try to give myself half an hour before I go to bed, dedicated to just reading my book to relax my brain and get ready to switch off and sleep. It helps that I turn my phone and iPod off half and hour before I go to bed and put them at the opposite side of the room.

Things That Relax Me

Therapy Colouring

This is really good to do at the end of the day, and it makes you concentrate and just release the stress within you or think about things. I tend to do this whilst watching YouTube or watching Netflix, but not very often. I also packed this book and a pencil case full of pens for my journey through France and Germany to Austria. I was so excited to just relax, as travelling, for me, is the best way for me to just relax and be stress free. It also gives me time to reflect on things and what I appreciate in life.

Things That Relax Me

Have a bath

Obviously it has to be a lush bath or a bath filled with bubbles and bath salts! I give myself a good 15-30 minutes to fully relax before fully pampering myself with a face mask, cleansing my skin, moisturising my full body and then painting and shaping my nails. I more of a bubble bar person when it comes to lush, even though I love their bath bombs, bubble baths will always be my favourite!

Thank you for reading lovelies! I hope you liked this post and go away planning to relax for yourself, especially on a Bank Holiday evening there's no excuse to give yourself some time out! Hope you've had a lovely day!

Hair | Natural World Argan Oil Of Morocco Range

Natural World Moroccan Argan Oil Range

I've tried many shampoo and conditioners in my life, but none that compare to these! Let's start off with how this brands products are free from parabens, phosphates, dyes, gluten and phthalates. Now how natural is that?! I've been really into natural products lately, so being able to try a hair care brand that is natural, is perfect timing!

Natural World Moroccan Argan Oil Range

How freaking huge are these bottles though?! I spotted this exact size in Tesco for only £6! Considering how it's a 1 litre bottle filled with goodness for your hair, that's gonna last a pretty long time if you ask me! Not only does this stuff smell good, it does good! The first time I tried this was using the sample size bottle as it's the only thing I had with me when I was at my boyfriends house after a day cosplaying at Comic Con. So, you can image me having pink and blue hair and only having this little bottle with me. I didn't actually think it would get it all out so quick and restore the moisture within my hair, but bloody hell, this stuff is a miracle worker! It not only cleansed all the pink and blue out, but restored my hair to a healthy state it's not been in for months! I definitely put this shampoo to the test with this challenge, and it certainly passed with an added bonus!

Natural World Moroccan Argan Oil Range

This conditioner...Ooooo I just LOVE the smell of this! Especially with the treatment oil I'll tell you about in a minute, as I experimented it in 3 different ways. This conditioner left my hair so healthy, silky and soft! No other conditioner has made it this rich and healthy looking! I've tried the likes of Lee Stafford, Pantene, Schwarzkopf, and these brands are all brilliant, but for different things. This hair care brand range has completely restored my hair to the healthiness I've always wanted it to be at. The only thing I would change, or would advise the brand to do next, is this range, but a volumising set! Now that's something I'd definitely try out!

Natural World Moroccan Argan Oil Range
Bearing in mind, I rarely use hair treatment oils, as I'm scared of getting greasy hair - HATE IT. But, this product actually blew me away with how silky it made my hair. The smell...OMG THE SMELL! It's so rich but in a nice sort of way, especially once I've dried it, out it up for a while and then let me hair down, you get the release of such a natural, but beautiful smell coming from your hair!
Now, there's 3 different ways to use this treatment oil, and I've tried them all out, and definitely feel that mixing this oil in with your conditioner is the best way for silky, beautiful smelling hair! I tried using it after I blow dried my hair, although it makes it nice and shiny, it just doesn't do as well as when I mix it with the conditioner, it just works better when mixed and then washed out. The last way of using it was before shampooing, and jeez was this a mistake or what...my scalp felt so greasy...but you couldn't see it was greasy until day 2 of my dry hair. I definitely won't be using it any other way than mixing it with the conditioner, as that's the way I got the best results out of this product.

Either way, I LOVE this range! I will definitely be repurchasing this set or maybe try out their other ranges when these massive bottles eventually run out. Thanks for reading! You can find the entire Argan Oil Of Morocco Range down below! Have browse through their site to see what other awesome natural ranges they have too!
