Lifestyle | What Happened In December

Well, December started off with me and the girls heading to the NEC for the World Duty Free shopping event, then heading into Birmingham for a bit of shopping and pizza. That same day I went out for my friends 30th Birthday and had a night out - December was full of different nights out! I put up an 8ft Christmas tree all by myself!

I had a few driving lessons which I'm quite enjoying! I also met George for a couple of drinks, a KFC and a well needed catch up! You can watch the vlog from that weekend here.

During December I was getting to grips with my new Admin job that I'm really enjoying! As I mentioned before, I had a lot pf nights out, so I had a night out filled with prosecco, donuts, curry, photo booths and lots of dancing with all the girls from my old workplace which was really nice to have that last reunion with them all!

I had a very christmassy, but lovely weekend with my friends that included; ice skating, a Christmas meal that included prosecco (of course), tomato and balsamic vinegar soup with ciabatta bread, roast turkey dinner with all the trimmings and a terry's chocolate orange sundae to finish! SO GOOD!! During this meal, me and the girls all opened and exchanged our gifts we brought each other - like a mini Christmas day for us all. My favourite annual thing to do at Christmas is our Christmas meal and exchange gifts around good food and company. You can also watch the vlog from this as well here.

The next weekend was followed by 2 house parties and going down the town, a very eventful night I'll tell you that!

During Christmas we actually spent it up the coast for a change, which was lovely - I also finally got to take Pepsi to the beach which I was SO happy about as he'd never been before! So that made my Christmas! Family time at Christmas is so important to me, but I don't care where we are for Christmas, as long as we're all together! I made a gingerbread house on Christmas day as well! See my What I Got For Christmas video here.

To end December, I went up to Liverpool for my friends 23rd birthday and we had a night out there and drank lots of prosecco...We did a lot of shopping too! So I'll definitely film a haul on what I got in Liverpool at some point. To end December, I went out on New Years Eve and had one of the best nights out I've had in a long time! So fun!!

So that's the last of whats happened during 2017! Here's to what happens in the months of 2018! Have a great new year lovelies!

Lifestyle | New Year Goals 2018

Happy New Year everyone! This is something I do every year now. Goals I want to achieve throughout the year, so let's see what I've got in mind...

Pass my theory & practical driving test

I'm more determined than ever to get on the road and learn to drive, and have that essential freedom I need! I'm quite enjoying driving at the minute and I'm just itching to just get my own car and get on the road!

Save money

By this I don't mean stop spending, I just want to save even more money than before, as it's always good to have that extra bit of money as a back up, as you never know what could happen.

Travel

I mainly want to travel to Ireland and somewhere hot, like Santorini or Portugal. I would like to visit Ireland for my 21st birthday and meet up with the lovely Shauna Claire! I'm dying to go and see giants causeway and have a night out in the Irish pubs - as I am half Irish after all.

Eat Healthier

See, I've had more of a balanced diet, but then I munch/binge away at junk food I don't need to eat. I just keep eating so much! Must be having a growth spurt hahaa! Or I just really like food - of course ;)

Home exercises

See I want to make time for this now as I use to love going the gym and that feeling of exhaustion, but feeling really good about it - I really want that again, as I love working out and feeling better within my body.

Read more books

Once I've got my theory test out the way, I can read to my hearts content, but I've got so many books I want to read and sat in my drawers next to my bed. Its also finding the time too.

Film more videos

I normally always have a video up every Sunday at 5pm on my YouTube channel, but I want to just film loads more videos. Like, trying American candy, the whisper challenge part 2, the best friend tag - I honestly have a fair few ideas, I just need the time to film!

Live life how I want to and not let anyone get in the way of my own happiness

As 2017 was full of this and I'm taking a stand and doing what makes me happy. Never do something your not happy with, or be with someone your not happy with. You will only feel miserable, when there is no point, because you are the person in charge of your own happiness, so take charge and make your life how you want it!

Hope you liked this post! What's your new year goals or resolutions etc.?

Lifestyle | 2017 Goals Recap

Happy New Year Everyone! I've decided to start the year off with a recap post on the goals I set myself for 2017 and what I did and didn't achieve. There will be a follow up post soon of my goals for 2018 which are slightly different to the goals I normally set myself.

Spending more quality time with loved ones

As I've had a lot of hard times this year, I've had to go through and learn a lot from what's happened. So quality time with the ones I love has happened as much as possible this year!

Think before I speak

Which I have and haven't achieved, as in some cases I've had to be brutally honest as of certain circumstances. So I know how and when to use this tactic. So it's a win win with this goal, because I've been put in situations where I make myself confident enough to be heard if I don't agree with something.

Use what I already have

I have and haven't been doing this throughout the year. So I've kind of achieved this. Mainly food, make up and (sort of) clothes in this cases.

Put more commitment into my blog & YouTube & stay organised with it

I've actually surprised myself on how well I've kept my content so updated throughout the year! With it being 2x blog posts and 1x video uploaded almost every week! By the way, I upload a new blog post every Monday & Thursday, as well as a video every Sunday at 5pm.

Experiment more

I've actually experimented quite a lot with my make up this year! With trying new make up, new styles in fashion as well as interior! I've loved doing this so I will definitely keep switching things up every now and again!

Grow stronger as a person

I have definitely achieved this big time! I've had some issues thrown at me this year, and they've only made me get back up and be a bigger, stronger and better person than I was before.

Be more creative

This goes hand in hand with experimenting more.

Save even more money

I've been on and off with this all year, but I have managed to save some money throughout 2017.

New diet & exercising plan

I started going the gym in January and loved it! But I stopped going in June as I moved area and the gym wasn't very close by. So I've hardly exercised except for doing loads of walking and dancing in the nightclub every weekend of December hahaa! My diet on the other hand isn't too bad, as I try not to eat too much greasy/oily foods as they just make me feel ill. So cutting out that sort of food really helps with how my body and mind feels.

My bucket list for the year was hardly achieved, the ones I achieved were:

  • Get a new job - which is in admin, which I'm SO happy about!
  • Switch up my hairstyle - which I chose to go light blonde which I just love!
So out of 10 changes, I've achieved 8 and a half! Then as for my bucket list, I've achieved only 3/4 out of 10! Let's hope I can achieve more in 2018, but I've achieved a lot either way during 2017.

Hope you enjoyed reading this post. What did you achieved throughout 2017?

Lifestyle | Lounging In Upbra Lingerie

UpBraUpBra

You may of heard about UpBra before on my blog if your a long term reader. You can see that post here. I was quite unsure about trying their bra's again, as of my past experience with them before. They just weren't comfortable. But they've brought out a new range, so I decided to try it out and see if they've change their design to be more comfortable and fitting.

UpBra
UpBra

I went for a nude coloured t-shirt UpBra bra as well as the one in black. I don't know why, but the black one fitted better than the nude one? I put the pull straps in the exact same places as each other on both bras, but the black looked and fitted better, as you can see by the pictures. They certainly flatter your chest area that's for sure!

UpBra
UpBra

I'd wear these bra's for special occasions though, as they aren't like normal bra's you just throw in the washing machine, they can't be crushed or folded either or their design and shape will be ruined. Something to think about if your thinking about investing a bra from UpBra.

UpBra
UpBra

As for my thoughts on everyday wear on these bras, I've given them a proper test. I wore the black one to work. So it had a full test on my day to day work like and I completely forgot I was wearing it, I was honestly that comfortable! I'm so shocked at how well they've changed the comfort design of this bra! The t-shirt bra's seem to be the most comfortable ones! The UpBra's also complement your chests so nicely and give them that little boost if you need it to lift them up.

As for the nude bra, it seems to fit not as nice as the black. Same with comfort its fine except I had to readjust it a few times during the day, but it wasn't too uncomfortable! Quite alright to be honest! Out of the two, even those the design may be the same etc. I would recommend the black more than the nude bra. Plus black goes with everything anyway!

Fashion | My New Favourite Jewelry Brand

Jeulia Ring
Jeulia Ring

Have you ever seen a more beautiful ring?! I honestly just love Jeulia Jewellery ring designs! They have to be my favourite jewellery brand going! I love wearing their rings, as they fit perfectly, the designs are flawless (as you can tell by the photos I took), they are just so stunning and photogenic! I may love this ring a bit too much hehee!

Jeulia Ring

Honestly though, if this was a choice for an engagement ring (which it is part of their engagement ring section) this would be PERFECT! The thing that caught my eye about this ring the most is, the attention to detail the designers clearly had for this stunning piece. The heart shape crystal underneath the larger crystal is such a nice touch and adds that different look. Next to the tiny gold details running round the ring is just beautiful. Even the crystals placed around the ring just add to the beauty of the design. Can you tell I'm literally in love with this ring?

Rings have always been my favourite accessories when it comes to jewellery. I've never really been one for bracelets or necklaces that much, I do where them, but very rarely, I'm more for watches and rings more than anything else. I definitely will be getting my wear out of this beauty! Heard about this brand before on my blog? Read my last review on Jeulia Jewellery here. I definitely recommend checking out their site for a little nosey! They sell necklaces, earrings, bracelets and even men's accessories as well as their stunning rings! Perfect for Christmas Gifts!!

Beauty | The Charcoal Face Mask You Need To Try

7th Heaven Charcoal Peel Off Mask

I love anything to do with Charcoal as it's so good in products like toothpaste, hair products and especially skincare. So when 7th Heaven released their Charcoal Peel-Off masks, I obviously was going to try them out, as I get fascinated by the charcoal nose strips you can get and what they can pull out of your face!

So, first impressions. The consistency of the mask is quite runny, but thick at the same time. So there's plenty of product to go all over your face - twice if you wanted to!

7th Heaven Charcoal Peel Off Mask

It takes quite a while for it to dry though is the thing I found quite annoying. It takes 20-25 minutes but if you want your full face mask to dry, it's at least a 30 - 40 minute wait. It's alright if your having a pamper night etc. But I'm impatient as it is, so it's just too long for me, but the results are pretty good! Seeing as the pores on my nose gets quite clogged up, it certainly sorted out the majority of that and around my chin!

These masks are definitely great for a girls night in or a little treat to yourself when you are having a relaxing evening and pamper yourself, as we all know, we deserve to treat ourselves and look after our skin and bodies.

7th Heaven Charcoal Peel Off Mask

Definitely try this mask out and pick it up if you see it! Worth a try for sure! Especially for those with clogged pores in their skin.

Have you tried out 7th Heaven masks before?

Lifestyle | What Happened In November

I can't believe I've kept this series up for almost an entire year now! I've got to say, it wasn't as good as 2016, but hopefully 2018 will be better? We'll have to wait and see. Let's stick to what's been happening in November first.

So first of all, it started with Bonfire night. Myself and my best friend Jodie went into Kenilworth for something to eat before hand. W were hoping to get an Italian at Zizzi's before hand, but they were reservations only. So we trekked around the town centre - in the rain - heading into loads of different food places to be told that they were fully booked or it was too busy. We were also told this by our last resort restaurant at the Almanack, but once I said everywhere was saying that, they were kind enough yo find us a tab;e for 2 thankfully! We'd never been in the Almanack before, but would definitely visit again! The staff there were so lovely, the food was good, the interior was nice. It was just such a nice place to be in. After filling up on burger and chips, we stuck our wellies on and headed to the Kenilworth Castle Bonfire/Fireworks Display. It was £10 a ticket - was £7 last year - but the money goes to charity so it's not all bad.

That same night, we went for a night out as it'd been a while since we last went out - only a month but you know! It was honestly such a good night and so hilarious!

The next thing that happened in November was Reiss' Birthday. We headed out for brunch at Valarie's Patisserie. We both ordered the pancakes - Reiss had bacon with his and I had banana and blueberries - so so good! I also had a strawberry breeze smoothie - filled with bananas and strawberries - AMAZING!! Definitely will be heading to Valarie's again at some point! Afterwards we went to watch Thor: Ragnarok, which was so good, action packed and hilarious! The first 30 minutes was a bit fast with all the scenes, but overall I'd rate it an 8/10 - definitely go and see it i your a Marvel fan! We headed to this new gaming arcade (Resorts World we spent the day at), and had so much fun on all the different games machines winning tickets and storing them on our new Vortex gaming cards. Definitely check it out if you ever spot a Vortex Gaming place!

I wrote those last pieces in the first 2 weeks of November...My life soon changed drastically in a week. I split up with Reiss, got a new job, quit my old childcare job and now work in Admin. I lost a whole stone of weight during that week, which is not ideal as I've always been underweight so I've been pretty run down. But, nothing stops me from being positive and being strong. I push through the hard times and make them better. I may have had a drastic change within one week, but I don't regret anything that happened, as everything is a learning curve and everything happens for a reason. This time, it's a reason for me to enter a new chapter in life and do what's best for me. I've booked a driving lesson and my theory test, as next year, my goal is to pass my test and get a car. I want that freedom for myself and to have that extra step into independence. I'm very independent for my age, but I want to take that one step further. So November has been a very shocking month for me! But I appreciate every opportunity I'm given in life and grab it whilst it's there.

Always tell yourself, if not now, when? No one else can push you in life but yourself, so PUSH YOURSELF to get where you want in life, as no one can do it for you! Go out there and be that GIRL BOSS in life!

Fashion | Party Season Is Approaching

Party Season Outfit

Party season is fast approaching, so what better way to have the opportunity to style up something different this year! I've decided to challenge myself to style up this swimsuit from UKSwimwear, as I rarely wear bodysuits really, and I love to extend on my personal style!

Party Season Outfit
Party Season Outfit
Party Season Outfit

How gorgeous is this cobalt/electric blue colour though! I just love it! I thought this v-neck/plunge bodysuit would look even better with my beloved black flares that I seem to be wearing a hell of a lot lately, as well as this blazer! It's such a smart, glam but overall sexy look for the party season! The halter neck design of the bodysuit is quite unusual and slightly strange, but its quite nice all the same! Imagine this swimsuit by the pool in maybe Santorini! I'm obsessed with this place recently, I'm thinking of planning a trip there in the new year hopefully! And if I go, this beauty will definitely be coming with me!

Party Season Outfit
Party Season Outfit
Party Season Outfit

Keeping the accessories quite simplistic with this outfit, with a mustard velvet material bag that I am LOVING this season and used it so much! Who would of thought this colour would go with so much! Especially to give a dark outfit that little bit of colour. I also added in my favourite boots I always seem to be wearing! I always where the shoes I buy from Hypnotic the most! They just seem to last so long! The back of the bodysuit thought...gorgeous! Very revealing but not to a point where anything major is on show. It's just such a gorgeous piece, especially teaming the blazer with it, but with an off the shoulder vibe for added sassiness of course.

I hoped you enjoyed this look and it's given you some inspo to try something new for the party season, as a lot of the pieces about for party season seems to be dresses and jumpsuits. Be the unique one and try something different! Thanks for reading beauts!

Lifestyle | CaseApp Review

Caseapp

I've been a little bit obsessed recently with buying phone cases for my iPhone 7 Plus. There's just so many cute ones available that I just can't resist! I used to just buy the one for my old Samsung Galaxy 3 mini (well old I know!), as it was such a crap phone and you couldn't get many nice designs for the old phone I didn't used to bother getting any new cases for it. But now I've had the iPhone 7 Plus for a few months, I'm buying so many cases! Get they aren't all unique like these ones I designed on CaseApp! Let's talk a bit about my new cases...

Caseapp

I'd seen this brand on Instagram a fair few times and wasn't quite sure what the brand did exactly until I realised you can create custom design cases on there! So of course I had to have a go at this and design 2 different cases. I decided to go for a really personal collage full of all my favourite pictures, from personal favourites to a few pictures I photographed myself. Each photo I added into the collage mean something different to me. There's one from Cadbury World, my 20th Birthday, MCM Comic Con, Me & Reiss, Disneyland, London, all my favourite memories basically! I've had this case on my phone for ages now! I love it! But also to the fact I'm struggling to get the case off my phone...?

Caseapp

The plastic that the case is made out of is actually SO much stronger than any other cases I own. They must protect it well as I'm struggling to get the case off! This other case I designed, was one of the pictures I took myself on my Nikon camera. I just loved it and thought it would be a nice autumnal picture to have on my case and look really nice! I went for the glossy finish on the cases as you can choose between glossy and matte - and we all know I'm not a matte person that's for sure! I honestly love these cases and they are my favourites in my case collection so far!

Caseapp
*2x iPhone 7 Plus Cases - Caseapp

If you want to have a go at designing your own phone cases for yourself, no matter if you don't have an iPhone, they design for Samsungs, mac books and iPads too! You can also design your own phone holder, OnePlus phone cases, Nokia, HTC, iPod, PC Laptops! If you don't want to upload your own pictures, they have a wide range of cases you can choose from for any device mentioned that you own! To top this all off, I have  20% discount code for you guys to use for if you want to design your own cases! Use "ISOBEL20" for 20% off at the check out!

Thanks for reading!
